An Apology.

As She walks into the Café He tingles with nerves.

As She sits and looks he can't quite find the words.

As He stumbles through thoughts She looks ashamed.

As He notices that He's lost all the trust He gained.

Now She tells Him why She must leave, all the reasons why.

Now He listens and knows instantly that He should have tried.

Now more than ever to be the man She thought Him to be.

Now is the moment that will change Him and truthfully,

I'm glad of it so He knows what He's done,

I'm now the witness to a man on the run,

I'm not sure where He's going but it's got to be better than what He used to be.

When the hideous man i saw in the mirror was Me.
